When Lomography Soho asked me to take some test shots with the new Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 art lens I immediately thought to take advantage of the dreamlike effect this lens is becoming famous for. My aim was to try to depict a sort of urban fairytale and Isabel’s fox mask seem to be perfect for the purpose. I’ve always wanted to take pictures in some of the most iconic places in London, such as Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, but I never asked any of my models to do so to avoid putting them in the position to pose under scrutiny of billion of tourists. However, I guess there’s nothing to be ashamed of when you can hide behind a mask. The other pics were taken while it was getting dark around Shoreditch and Angel’s canal.
