When we left London, before starting our South American road trip, me and Isa decided to travel back home to see our families in Italy and Austria.
For the first time in 3 years I could spend more than a couple of days in the place where I was born without being forced to plan my stay meticulously in order not to let anybody down. This time around I arrived when most of my friends were not in town and my relatives were working. I literally found myself completely surrounded by silence tapping the kitchen’s table and not having a clue about what to do. A bit of a weird feeling after years of fixed schedules, where every half hour of your day is planned!

In between rainy days and planning frenzy, I managed to organize few photo walks with Marta, Adele and my brother Michele, and a day trip to Livigno with Isabel (where we also took a detour and stopped at Bernina pass, in Switzerland).

Knowing that 4 months of summer were waiting for me made those two weeks of moody cold autumn days more than acceptable!
