It takes guts to leave everything behind to pursue what you’ve always dreamt of. And this lady here has definitely plenty.
Gifted with an undeniable talent for singing, Carla and her magnetic performances have conquered the heart of many music lovers in Lisbon, Bruxelles and Budapest. Few months ago she put her career in finance on hold and, following a “you only live once/no regrets” philosophy, she moved to London to attend a renowned music school.
I was quite surprised to discover how camera-shy Carla was. Hard to belive for somebody who’s used to perform her on gigs in front of crowds of people! I soon realized that my instructions were of no help, so, to get over this initial awkwardness, I asked her to play something for me. Carla started singing “Riptide”, and without being aware of it, she put up a jaw dropping show. All of a sudden it was magic all along Regents Canal and being in front of the lens didn’t seem to be a problem anymore.
