Michele came back to visit me in London for the launch party of my exhibition at Lomograhy Soho, which also included one of his portraits. All the touristic stuff had been already ticked during his previous stay in October 2015, so, luckily, we were allowed to focus on a more chilled out plan… Basically based on eating and drinking the whole time with the exception of a long walk at Richmond Park, one of my favourite places in London, followed, of course, by a 5PM beer+snack stop at a nearby pub.
Not more than 2 weeks later, we saw each other again in Graz, Austria, where my family joined Isa’s for Easter. In between schnapps we spent the afternoons in the warm spring sun playing with my parents’ dog, Marlon. After almost 3 years of goosebumps in the UK, you definitely learn to appreciate to be outdoor in your t-shirt without feeling the urge to rush back in to warm up.
