There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the person you love happy.

Maybe because we would have gone on holiday for a week the day after, maybe because of the new pink hair dye which she liked so much or because she was wearing a dress, her favourite, that she hadn’t put on since her Budapest days, maybe because, for the first time in ages, we could spend some time outdoors without freezing and the summer in London actually looked like summer should be… I just remember watching her walking confidently towards me and thinking that, whatever it was, I really didn’t want to miss it. I hadn’t seen that light in her eyes for such a long time.

I only took six shots that night, while we were waiting for a friend to join us for dinner. I love the joy each of them emanates.
