Mine and Isabel’s love for Berlin is no longer a secret for anybody.
This time around we went back there with two dear friends from London, Joana and Karolis (you met them here: https://andrejrusskovskij.com/?p=2050) to celebrate Isabel’s birthday and for the launch night of my exhibition at Spinner und Weber, in Wedding.

Drinking Club-Mate non stop, eating papaya salad made from scratch by a Thai-Mama at the Thai Park, hanging out with our beloved Berlin friends Claudia, Annosz, Aish and Basti, dining outdoors in Prenzlauerberg while some random drunken German celebrity puts on a comedy-show for free, clubbing and coming back home at dawn with a freshly baked Apfeltasche or Marzipan Croissant, catching up with friends we hadn’t seen in more than 3 years, meeting supportive and inspiring Lomographers, making friends with new cool and welcoming people, never saying no to food (especially to falafel), discovering a buzzing Turkish Market in Neukoeln, posing in the Photo Booth and, why not, coming up with an improvised photoshoot, where everybody wears whatever they want, in an abandoned water park (BLUB).

4 days in Berlin made us feel more alive than many months spent in London.
